In 2004, four government agencies of Taiwan, the Ministry of Education (MOE), Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), and National Science Council of the Executive Yuan (NSC), jointly established the Taiwan Scholarship Program to encourage outstanding international students to undertake degree programs in Taiwan. Details about each of the Taiwan Scholarships are shown below. Some universities offer scholarships. Information about these can be obtained from each university's website.
Application
The application period is from February 1 to March 31, each year, unless individual Taiwan Representative Offices specify otherwise. For application guidelines and forms, scholarship types and quotas, as well as information about the selection process and outcome announcements, applicants may contact a Taiwan Representative Office directly.
